Cosmetic surgery of female genitals is becoming more popular nowadays. It is socially more acceptable that some women are not satisfied with the way their genitals look and want to change their appearance. Sometimes these surgeries are done not only for aesthetic, but for medical reasons, too. The most common procedures include labiaplasty, mons plasty and vaginoplasty.

Labiaplasty is the reduction of the labia majora or/and the labia minora. It is usually done for medical and aesthetic reasons. Large or thick labia minora can result in pain or discomfort while doing some sports or wearing tight clothing. Sometimes it is performed as a restorative surgery, when a woman's labia are damaged during childbirth.

Mons plasty, also called pubic lift is a surgical procedure to reduce and tighten the Mons Pubis. It is also performed for both cosmetic and functional reasons because in certain cases the sagging skin may interfere with intimacy or the urinary stream in some patients.

Vaginoplasty is a surgical procedure designed to improve the tone of the vagina by tightening the vaginal muscles and supporting tissues. The surgery is generally performed on women who have experienced childbirth, but it may also be performed to revise abnormalities or repair the vaginal area following disease or injury.

These surgeries may be combined for a complete rejuvenation.
